Hello Riders,
I hope this finds you safe and well. We have not been able to get together and ride, but we have a lot of nice weather yet this year. So, please attend the next meeting on Thursday, July 9th, which is the second Thursday of the month. The date is changed because the Post will be open then, so please make note. Hope to see everyone there. We should also know about Lanesville Heritage by then.

Riders,
It sure would be nice to see all of our 2020 Legion Rider members at our monthly meeting. I realize that you may not be able to attend every meeting, but please try to attend some of them. You have already paid to join, so why not attend the meetings and have a vote on what we do and where we ride. We would like to see you. It is March already and we are planning rides for the good weather that is coming soon. I want to thank the Riders that are involved in what we do and help us plan for the future of our ALR chapter.

Riders,
This is my first article as Director of the American Legion Riders at Post 28. I will do the best job I can with the help of the membership and the other officers of the Riders.
If anyone has some new ideas on how we as Riders can recruit new members, please come forward. I hope we have more participation this year on our rides. I know I personally, have not been able to ride as much as I wanted to in the past. I hope to change that this year, I hope you will too.
We need to support and get along with our brothers and sisters in our Legion family. If you know anyone that belongs to the Legion and has any interest in riding in a group, invite them to an ALR meeting to see what it is all about. Let’s have a good year. See you at the next meeting.

Hello to all,
I hope everyone is staying cool and doing well. It has been a hot one. First off, I want to thank the ones who volunteered to help with the Lanesville Heritage Weekend. I do appreciate the ones who did help out. Again, thank you.
Winner of the Savage gun was Brad Smith and the ladies rifle was won by Brandi Feller. Both were very happy. Also, we need all riders who are planning on staying to get their dues paid for the year of 2020. You must pay your Auxiliary, Legion, or Son membership dues in order to stay in the ALR.
Our next meeting is Thursday, November 7th at 7:00 p.m.

Hello Riders,
Just a few things I want to say, first off, I would like to remind everyone that the 2020 ALR membership cards are in. I know some riders have not paid their 2019 dues yet. So, to be able to stay in you must pay 2019-2020 and also Auxiliary or Legionnaire dues so let’s get those dues paid ASAP. Also, the next ALR meeting is Sept 5th at 7pm. We need everyone to come and support the ALR and our post. The lady’s Auxiliary breakfast is Sept 21st from 9am-11am for all you can eat for $5.
