Greetings and Welcome to the 9th Annual Ride to Remember SE Region!

Please accept this as your invitation to Honor our Fallen Heroes and their families from SE Indiana who have given the Ultimate Sacrifice. We were invited by our Gold Star families to show Honor and Respect during the most difficult time in their lives. We must assure them that we will Never Forget the sacrifice given by their HERO!

Even though many of those participating are IPG (Indiana Patriot Guard) members this is NOT an IPG mission. Membership in the IPG is NOT a requirement to participate. Cages, as always, are welcome to participate. This will be a rain or shine event with no rain date.

Ride to Remember shirts will be available prior to, as well as, the day of the event. Your shirt purchase allows us to give back to the family by providing their shirt at no cost.

This is a two-day event with an optional overnight stay. The route is 300+ miles with LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) support where available. We encourage everyone to complete the entire trip, but understand busy schedules. Please participate in as much as your schedule allows.

It is our duty and mission in organizing this event to Honor all Veterans, past, present, and future. We will ultimately Honor those men and women who have given the Ultimate Sacrifice from the most recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our Gold Star families have been invited to participate to the level which their schedules allows.

Itinerary for Sunday June 9, 2019

Stage location: The Best Western Green Tree Inn is located at 1425 Broadway Street, Clarksville, IN, 47129.

Stage time: 7:00 7:15 with briefing at 7:15. Depart the hotel at 7:30.

Army NG SPC Carlos Wilcox IV, Army SGT Jonathan K. Peney, Army SGT Matthew L. Deckard, and Army SGT Steven P. Mennemeyer will be Honored from 8:00 – 8:45. KSU at 8:45. Location: New Albany National Cemetery, 1943 Ekin Ave., New Albany, IN 47150.

Army SGT James D. Faulkner will be Honored from 9:00 – 9:30. KSU at 9:30. Location: Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2778 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN 47150.

We will stop briefly at the Marathon Station in Greenville prior to Bartlesville for a restroom break and gas. The address is: 9255 U.S. 150, Greenville, IN 47124.

Marine CPL Dustin L. Turpen will be Honored from 11:30 – 12:00. KSU at 12:00. Location: Bartlettsville Christian Church Cemetery, 3925 Dunn Bridge Rd. Heltonville, IN (Bartlettsville, IN) 47436.

Brownstown will be our lunch stop for Sunday from approximately 12:30 – 2:00. Lunch will consist of a pizza buffet provided by Blondies Pizzeria & Pub for $10 per person. The address is: 100 S Main St, Brownstown, IN 47220

Marine LCPL Hunter “HD” Hogan will be Honored from 2:00 – 3:15. KSU at 3:15. Location: Veteran’s Memorial at Jackson County Court House, 111 South Main, Brownstown, IN 47220.

Marine LCPL Jacky R. Koenig will be Honored from 4:00 – 4:30. KSU at 4:30. Location: Vernon Cemetery, 315 S. Pike St. Vernon, IN 47265.

Marine CPL John C. Bishop will be Honored from 5:00 – 5:30. Location: Cliff Hill Cemetery, 210 North Monroe St. Versailles, IN 47042.
